The car in the centre driven by Mr. Dave Owen averaged 40.3 miles per gallon, that on the left, piloted by Mr. H.J. Walsh, 34.5 miles per gallon and that on the right, Mr. P.E. Hunt driving, 38.1 miles per gallon. The nearest approach to this splendid Chevrolet average of 37.6 miles per gallon was 28.9 miles, averaged by an Overland entry." Stämpel (oläslig).
