This vessel has sleeping accomodations for 6 persons. Safety First is a 40' x 9'5" V-bottom cruiser, designed by Wm. H. Hand, Jr., and built by Rocky River Dry Dock Co., Rocky River, Ohio, for Mr. H.M. Hanna, Jr., of Cleveland, Ohio. She is powered with a Model FM, 6 cylinder, 85-125 HP. Sterling. The motor is of the counterbalance crankshaft type Sterling, with a bore of a 5 1/2" and a stroke of 6 3/4". The speed is 32 M.P.H."
